Unselfishly, I took advantage of the opportunity Medium so kindly offered, as a pre-advisement to be removed from the paid partnership program, weeks in advance.
I set out on my mission to interact with my fellow Medium curators the VERY next day after receiving that email.
For anyone wanting to make the mark, take this as lesson numero uno:
